I just internalized the idea that if the Repubs take back the House in 2022, ANY investigation of trump or 6 January will not only stop.... the records and documents will be shredded. I'm sure I had the thought, but I hadn't focused on it before.

Biden had just left office and was trying to assert executive privilege in order to hide embarrassing and potentially criminal evidence, would Trump give Biden time to let it play out in the courts until the Democrats could gain power again?
