I like to think of any group of people that work together with the hand analogy. Some fingers seem to do more than others, are more attractive, more expressive, are longer or shorter, but the hand is most useful when you have them all. My guy in Congress is smart, approachable and gives a damn. He is the chairman of the House Rules Committee, and a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and has been there for a while, so he knows his way around. My wish for him is to be who he is. No more, no less.
