This is making me crazy!

My neighbor, a sweet elderly woman that I have known for years is being fleeced by some Unvaccinated Trump humpers who have moved into her home. The story is tragic. The lady has suffered some health setbacks and invited this "Karen" into her home rent-free to help with chores and take her to the doctor. No sooner did Karen move in when she asked to have her boyfriend stay there as well. Not two months after Karen and her boyfriend set up housekeeping, they convince my neighbor to sign over power of attorney to Karen. Then, they convinced her she had to go to a nursing home. Once she was tucked away in an out of state nursing home, the boyfriend invited his two adult kids and their unleashed pit bull to move into the home. They thought they were home free and living high on the hog when the bank informed them that my neighbor had a reverse mortgage with a clause that said if the my neighbor stayed 100 days in a nursing home, they would sell the property and give her a cash payout for whatever equity she had left.

So it would seem that the Trump humpers would be gone, right? Wrong. The house was sold and they are refusing to leave. They are taking the new owners to court claiming they had no notice of this (a lie) have no where to move to and should not be forced to move BECAUSE OF COVID!!! NOT VACCINATED, BUT CONCERNED ABOUT COVID!!!!! What hypocracy.

Meanwhile, they are draining my neighbor's account to pay for these legal battles and their living expenses since none of them have a job and fighting the nursing home that wants to be paid for my neighbor's care.

God I hate these people. They have no conscience, no shame. And all they do is badmouth my neighbor while they steal her blind.

I'm sorry to vent, but I am so upset to be living near these people. My other neighbors and I have contacted the police, social services and anyone else we can think of to help to this poor woman and all we get are shrugs.

One is tempted to suggest that you contact your local chapter of the Angels or the Sons to organize some friendly persuasion.

Which is absolutely illegal. Can you call someone and report it as elder abuse? (Financial abuse is considered a type of elder abuse).

Would it be possible to contact a lawyer on her behalf?

to correct the situation. I agree with the other posters here that there is elder abuse and fraud occurring. Unfortunately for your neighbor, her compassion allowed her to be exploited and she may have to remain in the nursing home because of these grifters.

You have some good suggestions on this thread.

I would get their names and investigate them. People who operate like this have a lot of shady things in their past. There may even be warrants out for their arrest. I myself have used this technique several times with great success. Have their vehicles checked out, too. You can open a can of worms that might make them want to run screaming from your neighbor’s house.

I am sharing all of it with my neighbors. We are meeting tonight for "coffee and" to discuss. The problem is that she was an only child and never married. She does not have any relatives to help her. I think that's why these Trump Humpers felt she was such a good target for them.

They are just like drump only their crime has less monetary value than what he has stolen, but they of his ilk. Hopefully they cane be prosecuted for elder abuse, do report them to senior services.
