Is Sinema and Manchin both compromised?

From taking money from the wealthy GOP donors, or wealthy Russian donors, or from promises from the GOP they'll help them get re-elected? Is this why they're obstructing anything President Biden tries to do? Neither one has morals, and both driven by greed and their ego's.

By the GOP or Russians using PAC's then them funneling it into their pockets. Dirty dark money is influencing our politics, and could be behind their constant obstructions.

I sometimes think that Manchin is a ringer, that he has been planted to make Democrats look bad. If Biden's program were to fail due to resolute Republican opposition, the onus would be on them. But Manchin -- stalling, moving the goalposts, pretending to be on board but then slithering away -- allows the media to claim that the onus is on the Democrats. They promised to govern but look at them now, they can't get out of their own way. Probably the harm Manchin wreaks is more than offset by having control of the Senate agenda and Senate committees, which his nominal presence as a Democrat affords. But there is real harm being done by that man, not just to Biden but to Democrats in general. It would be lovely if the Democrats could pick up a couple seats in 2022 and Manchin-proof the Senate.

He seems to bizarre as he is essentially the last of his kind. He's frustrating, but he is consistent and predictable in where he stands.

Sinema is much harder to understand, I don't have a good explanation for her. The best I can come up with at this point is that she has personal issues and is obsessed with being the center of attention. She can best do that in this political climate by being a 'swing' vote, and puts this self obsession ahead of actual political beliefs and policy.

Manchin gets more press, but Sinema is truly the dangerous one. We know where Manchin is coming from, he's a moderate from a Red State that relies on fossil fuels for jobs. He's been who he is for a while, we can work with him.

Sinema is something else entirely, she's a former Green Party candidate who is now trending toward Republican. She's fundraising from Republicans right now. There's a real chance she could flip to the GOP and flip the whole Senate. She needs to be worked with closely, the Dems need to bring her into the fold quickly.

She is a very present danger to the growth of the middle class, solidly representing right wing values.
