Bostonians... a little help please

My guy has an appointment at B&W Hospital at 1:45 pm today. He'll be driving into town via Rte 2. Does he need to worry about Marathon activities impeding his drive in?

... but I always regretted driving into Boston proper even on non-big event days.

I will say that there is a green line T stop on Brigham Circle if he can handle mass transport and walking to and fro the station.

I don't know which direction you're coming from but it might be better to park in a suburb and train it in.

Current locals might have better info.
