.........Trump also shared his thoughts on House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) living with conservative pollster Frank Luntz.
"Uh, that Luntz thing is weird, right? What's that all about?" Trump wondered. "I don't think it's a romance. I think it's just, they know each other or something. I can't imagine. I don't think I mean, if you're thinking it but it is weird."
"You know, we're past the age of roommates. You don't do that," Trump admonished.

They did it to save money. DC/NOVA is insanely expensive.

(32,080 posts)It's more like a political favor. Luntz is a multimillionaire. He was renting out his condo to McCarthy at a cut rate, which is shady on it's own. Apparently, it also violated the condo association's rules, as well.
That being said, what we have here a bag of rats fighting amongst each other. May they all take each other out.

(16,166 posts)we toss that red meat to his base with more volume. As you are aware the pukes toss things out there with no justification so the thought of them being in a gay relationship should be a good thing for we Democrats.
The rumor could also start with the words, "the orange guy believes that............"

(3,286 posts)I mean, beyond anything else. He's just trash. Trash-talking, cussing like a 12-year-old who just discovered the F word, insulting at the level that should have gotten him a punch in the nose -
Trump declared Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) as a "stupid f*cker" and called him "a disgrace to the Republican Party."
And yet the Republicans apparently WANT their "boss" to trash everyone in the party. I mean, I'm glad the GOP cannibals are eating each other, but really, if I were a lifelong Republican and saw this guy who was never in the party until he decided to take it over trashing real Republicans who had been elected officials for decades... well, I would think, "I don't want that Trump trash in my party."
But they want him to LEAD them into the trash heap and through the dump, I guess.
I do not understand these people.

(90,645 posts)Theres no reason to believe the Trumps ever stopped housing discrimination. I think people like the Trumps just have a line-item in their budgets for fines because laws are for little people.
Theres a lot of politicians in DC who are living there without their families. Its very expensive. Ive seen more than one article over the years about townhouses full of Congresscritters who are batching it, splitting the cost.
The roommate thing with Luntz and McCarthy is just Trump casually spreading muck around to see what will stick. He is utterly classless that way he doesnt have to believe any of it.

(54,356 posts)But if the arrangement is economic in nature, that's from McCarthy's side. Luntz is worth well north of $10 million.
