The media explaining and complaining that "people don't know what's in the BBB plan"

is like reporting on the Gabby Petito case and wondering why no one talks about all the other missing girls in the world.

Our media is as worthless as a "Football Bat"

Maybe they should start doing their job. After all, they DO have 24 hours a day to fill. They could use some of that time to explain what the plan is and what it will do for the American people.

Every slack-jawed knucklehead who can say, "Whuh? I gotta get another shot?" is paraded before the cameras to show how "confusing" the need for a booster is. As if nobody ever had to get a tetanus booster or a flu shot every year. And who's eligible? It's so confusing! Oh, just like the initial vaccine roll-out? The most vulnerable and susceptible persons first - the elderly and front line medical workers? Well that's just like it was nine months ago. What's to be confused about? I don't know, but "confusing" is what the popular media are selling when it comes to public health.

a reporter at a conference saying "People don't know that the Clinton administration has actually lowered the deficit, polls say the public thinks otherwise."

To which the response was basically, "If they don't know it's because you aren't doing your job. It's not like we haven't been telling you again and again, but you all refuse to report it."

But then, of course, their main function in life is to sell products through advertising, not to inform the public.

The detailed appropriations are like the following:

SEC. 110022. CLIMATE RESILIENT COAST GUARD INFRASTRUCTURE.

In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated
for fiscal year 2022, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise
appropriated, $1,000,000,000, to remain available until September 30,
2031, to the account under the heading ``Coast Guard Procurement,
Construction, and Improvements'', for the acquisition, design, and
construction of new, or replacement of existing, climate resilient
facilities, including personnel readiness facilities such as family
support services facilities, that are threatened by or have been
impacted by climate change, as authorized under sections 504(e) and
1101(b)(1) of title 14, United States Code. The Coast Guard shall
return to the Treasury any funds appropriated under this section that
have not been expended by September 30, 2031.

1. If the people don’t know what’s in it, do your fucking jobs and report on it.

2. I don’t care what’s in it. It is directed at helping people in need and to creating jobs as a result.

I wouldn’t mind some dark money advertising slamming Manchin and sinema for hating people, including their constituents, and loving their lobbyist donations. I know, we’re here to support Dems. But there’s a limit.

We actually care about what's in a bill and work to find complex solutions to wide ranging policies and programs.

Retrumplicans are the "with us, or against us" party.

Mitch McConnell could serve them "shit sandwiches", and they'd elect him head chef 50-0.
