Let’s give the Dems some credit!

1. A handful of Dems are pushing. A handful of media outfits are doing their job.

The weather report is taken more seriously than most news shows.

Any news “reporter” not in an office and not talking about the latest traffic accident during rush hour is ahead of the pack.

Two sentences and then “KRAW correspondent Hot Dog McGraw is on the scene with a live report. Dog ?”. “Woof.”

The Dems need to be more than the general manager who sits in the dugout.

3. Dems need their own media just to be heard.

We all know what the current Corporate MSM & Corporate owned major Social Media fronts prefer to broadcast.

They've all been ordred to never speak a positive word of anything related to the D's.

But sometimes yes they do suck at messaging.

It's nothing new. Excuses aren't new either.

True, the Dems don't have a fox news, oann, EWTN or the vast network of local radio hate shows like the Qpublicans do. But there is no excuse for being this bad and uncreative.

Alas, GOP excels at message crafting and message discipline and has for several decades now.

Dems have people available who COULD craft messages commensurate with the moment -- with the import and urgency necessary. George Lakoff. Thom Hartmann. People who know how to do what's necessary as we are on the side of truth and justice.

Hartmann's book CRACKING THE CODE is a tutorial. I wonder how many in leadership have ever considered hiring someone to formulate the day's message. That's how Rove wins, you know. Seizing the daily news narrative by 5 p.m. each day.

Media gravitates to those who have a compelling message and can state it.

If I were Dem leadership, I would have already set up an "marketing/messaging" think tank that would as you put it "seize the daily news narrative" every day. (And even create memes and graphics that can be distributed online).
