How the hell are you going to fight a war if most of your people are dead or dying from COVID?

(2,023 posts)Dear unvaccinated people: Y'all call the vaccines "poison jabs" but if they are poison, where are the dead vaccinated people? Exactly the opposite is what is happening. Almost all of the people in ICUs with tubes down their throats and eventually dying are UNvaccinated.
Are the anti-vaxxers claiming that this isn't true? Are they claiming that unvaccinated people are all okay and that the hospitals are filled with dead and dying vaccinated people? Are they living in that alternate reality?

(17,425 posts)there are many people that died from the vaccine.
It makes sense to me in a way, because to be anti-vax, you have to be detached from reality.

(16,370 posts)It's simply untrue as in factually uncorrect, and I really wish these flea brains would disabuse themselves of that ridiculous notion!
I think these people just assume that being told to do something they don't like MUST be unconstitutional, and they don't even consider the possibility that's not actually the case. Oh well, we already know these people aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer. Hell, they barely qualify as dull butter knives!

(7,891 posts)The scary part of that equation is these are local GOP members who believe the Q contingent are a threat to their political power here.
"Normal" is on another scale altogether. They have changed the basis of debate and political conversation from do your kids learn about Darwin or not to whether we are a republic and who owns it. They're sure the foreign invasion from Mexico, or somewhere else south of Texas, is immanent.
They seem to have mixed opinions about COVID but are certain no one has a right to mandate about it. They're aware the hospital is filling with cases, and speak of knowing survivors and those who didn't, but don't think anyone has a right to interfere in "personal" decisions.
Go figure, eh?
The GOP at national and state level have gone full gonzo it seems.
