1. I hope he refrains from giving her a nickname.

Republicans don’t do it right.

4. Time to call out the GOP for the traitors they are.

And that is great.

5. Good. It's a title that he deserves and I had heard that he does NOT like this nickname.

Actually was livid about it, but hey, maybe it'll make him think about what's he has done over the years in order to earn such a nickname, eh? However, I don't think he can think this far ahead/analyze this in detail, unless someone explains it carefully to him.

26. I mean, would you like being outed if you were a sleeper agent for another country?

Makes it much harder to accomplish your mission unnoticed.

27. I find that I can live with McConnell's displeasure at his nickname.

After all, as you said, he earned it.

7. Why did she choose to do this at this time? Is something going on

with Russia and the Republicans that she wants to point to?

A former campaign manager for McConnell is facing multiple federal charges, including conspiracy to obtain illegal campaign contributions, covering tehm up, etc. from some Russian. Other, previous criminal charges had been pardoned by tRump. (?)

17 senators, bipartisan, from the intelligence and foreign relations committes are calling for Biden expel 300 Russian diplomats if Russia doesn't issue more visas to undo its ban on our expelled diplomats. (?)

Something else out there? A reminder of Repub-Russia in general?

Perhaps some other shoe to drop?

11. Am I not

remembering correctly. Didn’t some republicans go over to Russia a couple years ago around Thanksgiving. I believe one of them was Lindsey Graham.

13. Sure, though probably real crimes were committed,

and for sure extreme ethical violations by many Republicans and their agents, before, during and after that. In any case, if the past they've not yet been held to account for was it, Pelosi could have been calling him Moscow Mitch every day.

So I wonder, "Why now?" Maybe McConnell just put her in a bad, truth-speaking mood. Or?

17. It was 4th of July! 2018 No Graham but Ron Johnson!

So, what do we call these Red Square Republicans? My interlocutors on Twitter suggest “Moscow Mules.” Or, given the position they put themselves in before our masters in Moscow, perhaps they should be called the Prostrate Eight: Sens. Richard C. Shelby (Ala.), Steve Daines (Mont.), John Hoeven (N.D.), John Neely Kennedy (La.), Jerry Moran (Kan.), John Thune (S.D.) and Johnson, plus Rep. Kay Granger (Tex.).

22. THAT must happen.

And the 'general public' must be made aware of what is really going on ASAP.
That a slow moving coup is taking place and if we do not stop it now-- democracy in the USA is finished..

it's the only thing they and their cult understand. Please don't stop, Madame Speaker.

16. Newer republican meme: Russia is our friend.

Someone came up with 'Leningrad Lindsey' but it did not have the ring to it.

Trump supporters celebrated their victory. DEC 2016

"It turns out that United Russia won the elections in America," Viktor Nazarov, the governor of Omsk, Russia, declared in a radio interview.

"... retired Marine Corps Gen. James N. Mattis said in May 2015 that among world threats “in the near term, I think the most dangerous might be Russia.”

18. There should be an audit of the KY Senatorial race...

Moscow Mitch only had a 20% approval rating going into Election Day.

21. McConnell was saying playing Russian Roulette with the economy. Russian Roulette from Moscow Mitch

Debate on the college level is boring in many respects and one of the less fun jobs was reading the congressional record. One of the debaters on the squad was very good at this and could go through a volume of the CR in a third of the time it took me.

This amuses me

it because it needs to be said. McConnell should be referred by that moniker always.
