He wanted to have the job.
He never wanted to do the job.
He is wholly unsuitable for any form of public service.
He is too idle and too irresponsible to be given any kind of important job.
He surrounded himself with a cabinet of comparable moronic, clueless, blundering, ethic and morality free clowns, who are far right power-hungry sycophants pursuing the most extreme set of policies the county has seen in living memory (at the very least).
His folly, his chronic lack of judgement and his utterly dazzling levels of incompetence could lead to a very grim future for the liberal democratic settlement of his nation.
His mediocre populism continues to have the support of c40% of the electorate.
His legacy will be the poisoning of civic and civil society for the next generation at least.
You could toss a coin, right? What the flip has happened to our post World War Two liberal democratic settlement. We are at a moment of legitimate peril in the English speaking west. At least you had the sense to tell Trump to do one, even if he refuses to go. We are stuck with BoJo for at least another two years. Doomed we are. Fun times.
