Fascism is just over the horizon and it's coming at us like a freight train.
Our leaders really seem clueless of what to do about it.
James Carville has a "killer instinct" that the others seem to lack.
Joe, Nancy, Charles, please call Carville. Tick tock, tick tock.

I trust Joe, Nancy, and Chuck.

(2,868 posts)Keep in mind, he came out against the Dems progressive campaign and messaging before the 2018 midterms, and early on election night was saying 'I told you so' when initially the MSM was reporting DOOM for the Dems. When all the votes were counted, it wasn't just a Blue Wave, but a Blue Tsunami.
Carville was DEAD WRONG.

However, seeing that fascism is breathing down our neck, let's hear your suggestions.

(13,519 posts)and explain what they get with the dems plan and make it perfectly clear, they are the ones complaining there is no messaging but they refuse to put out the message. Repubs are good at messaging only because their supporters are simple minded and love the catchy phrases. Dems are much smarter and one catchy phrase does not market what the dems are doing for the country. The dems are busy actually doing the countries business while the media just keeps ripping them apart. Yes they need some good spokesperson to get the message out but not in the catch phrase of the day method.

(34,407 posts)although programs like Democracy Now, and Al Jazeera don't get many viewers, even when they first come out. People like the shows they watch, and the shows they watch invite the guests they want, and I guess their guests are not acceptable? But it's what people watch. People don't buy newspapers either. What is James Carville going to do? Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer have jobs, and other than press conferences here and there, I'm not sure what they're supposed to do either.
