The panel will determine Thursday whether to recommend Moderna COVID-19 booster shots. Johnson & Johnson's vaccine will be up for discussion Friday.

Food and Drug Administration advisory panel will meet Thursday for the first of two meetings this week to discuss whether to recommend boosters of Moderna and Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccines, and whether it's safe to get a booster shot of a different brand than your initial vaccine.

I’m encouraged that the Moderna vaccine appears to last awhile, but I would still like a booster.

Was very happy to get my Pfizer booster!

Let's hope they & CDC are quick about this!

Looks like Israel's Delta #s are decreasing significantly since 3rd dose! (Only Pfizer there, I believe.)

I thought the FDA's role was to certify a product is safe, and does what it says it does. Not to recommend a product or not.

The recommendation of the product would seem to be under the authority of the CDC or NIH.
