"SNIP......

Gallup: “Americans have shifted back to favoring a more hands-off approach for government in addressing the nation’s problems after a rare endorsement of a more active role last year. Currently, 52% say the government is doing too many things that should be left to individuals and businesses, while 43% want the government to do more to solve the country’s problems.”

“In contrast, a record-high 54% of U.S. adults last year said the government should do more to solve problems.”

indicating that feelings are not deeply held either way on the part of many. So the pendulum can easily swing back.

Help save you, transport and set up temporary housing?

If a devastating disease is detected you don’t need government to find a vaccine?

If the food you eat has salmonella you don’t need the government to regulate food processors?

Obviously the people polled are idiots or repuke leaning.

goes right along with I don’t need science to tell me how manage my health...that is until they can’t breathe and show up at the hospital.

A really slanted poll no doubt

Ever since Raygun saying “Government is the problem” much of the country will always point to the government’s inefficiencies and overlook what it does that’s good. Now that COVID is trending down people’s short attention spans and memories go back to viewing the government as the problem again.

It drives me crazy, Republicans will screw the government up with their hi jinx and then turn around and point and say, “see government is bad. We believe in your personal freedoms. Elect us”. Rinse and repeat as long as Democrats are in power.

Make that make sense!

Going to answer my own question...it doesn’t because the poll is worthless and totally slanted
