Nothing against the guy but I'm always disappointed when I turn to Maddow and he's filling in for her. He does a great job, he's just not Rachel!

she regularly took Fridays off. I think they just inked a new deal, maybe this is part of it.

7. I like her (mostly) calm voice in the middle of all those men.

The men, Chris, Lawrence and Brian are excellent, Rachel is just always interesting.

8. Velshi is the perfect substitute. He is smart

and interesting. Be grateful it is Ali. It could be Chris Jansing or Hallie Jackson. In our house those two can clear a room really fast.

10. Agree. It is just that some are better at providing information

to us. Some are tiresome in their effort to appear knowledgeable and some are just plain irritating. Most of us are seeking current information. Seems human nature to have favorites. We do see these people almost every day. 😊
