Declared the Winner
mediaite.com
A Pima County, Arizona official said after the Maricopa County audit, it has done a lot of damage to voter confidence across the state and across the country.
Trump is now glomming onto claims of election fraud in Pima County, declaring falsely once again that the election was Rigged and Stolen from the Republican Party in 2020, and in particular, its Presidential Candidate.
He claimed that the Justice Department had this information since last November and didnt act. You may remember that in December, Attorney General Bill Barr unequivocally stated, To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election.
Trump concluded his statement by declaring, Either a new Election should immediately take place or the past Election should be decertified and the Republican candidate declared the winner.

And the Crazy Train just keeps chugging along. The thing is, it needs to be batted down every time it raises its ugly head, or voter confidence will diminish with every election as people start to think, "What's the point of voting? It's all rigged."

(5,374 posts)Emotions, especially negative ones, linger on long after rational thought has faded into the Twilight Zone.
Another thing about dementia - someone in the depths of it, can tell you a story like it's the first time, and believe it is something he thought of quite recently.
But it isn't, more like the millionth time that story has been told. And the details become more distorted with each telling, the inferences and conclusions more irrational.
Sound familiar?

(6,039 posts)So it should be like this:
1. Decertify the election.
2. Have another election.
3. If the results aren't to my liking, repeat steps 1 and 2.
Or you can just sat I won and be done with it.
Nothing says Democracy more than this.

He sounds like a student who fails a test and demands either to be graded on a curve or a re-test.

(16,843 posts)He's desperate and he's flailing around, looking for any way he can talk himself out of this mess. He thinks there's a chance that his followers will start a civil war for him and he's doing his best to find a way that he can keep his ass from being locked up. So he's throwing a Hail Mary pass, thinking that he has to figure out a way to cheat himself into the White House.

(32,078 posts)They were as important to Biden's (and Mark Kelly's) election as was Maricopa County. His stunt didn't work in Phoenix, so he's moving on to try again with Pima County. Not sure how much of this is "Crazy Train." and how much of it is just more sowing of seeds of confusion and mistrust. I think it's probably mostly the latter, although Mr. Magnify Fortion is obviously in severe mental decline, and has been for a while.

TFG is what he is, with dangerous mental pathologies glaringly obvious to any rational person.
Also obvious is the MASS PSYCHOSIS among the devoted members of his cult.
Of course, there are those who KNOW he's a LIAR and love him for the way he triggers the "Libs."

(61,588 posts)Maybe Trump himself is crazy, maybe not. Either way, this script he's reading is carefully planned to undermine confidence in our institutions, which will eventually lead to loss of our democracy.
Too many people believe everything they hear on Fox News and everything Q tells them. I despair.
