I have friends who still think that Manchin and Sinema are going to do the 'right' thing in the end.

I laugh so hard when my friends tell me this, because Manchin & Sinema are lost causes only interested in themselves and their $$$$$ They don't care if the GQP/US Taliban Party takes over this country with the mid-terms and presidency coming at us faster than hell .... Pramila Jayapal confirmed they'd spent 2 hours together, wouldn't say what they discussed, but said there would be passage.

Jayapal had previously stated she and her allies might kill the entire package rather than compromise further, so this is also very reassuring.
