To go up against Burr next year. His name is Jeff Jackson. He's a State Senator, and he's already held a town hall in every one of our 100 counties. Now he's on a tour holding one in every college and university in NC.
Also running is Cheri Beasley, a former judge who is also wonderful, but Jeff Jackson has me for the primaries. I really want to see him make it, he has a lot of potential.

Who else would I want him to run against in AZ? The one that is parading around as a Democrat in name only.

Minnesota has two fine senators already.

I could see a California run for Feinstein's seat but that's where it probably ends. Wisconsin is too conservative nowadays to accept an outspoken liberal who is basically a carpetbagger.

Franken could look at a House seat in Minnesota to run for or another statewide office but senator doesn't look like a viable option at this point.
