1. Republicans are anti-education

They want to keep Americans stupid so they will vote Republican, and against their own interests. Same old shit.

It's clear the Republicans have succeeded in dumbing-down about 30% of the population -- the anti-science, anti-vax, climate-change is a lib hoax crowd.

Now republicans want more, they want stupider.

"As people do better, they start voting like Republicans - unless they have too much education and vote Democratic, which proves there can be too much of a good thing." ~Karl Rove

IMO, our side has been outplayed at the local level. I thought Howard Dean's 50 state strategy was a great start to right that oversight, but we abandoned that, too.

He was talking about parents throwing a fit about certain books and CRT being in schools and he said “We can’t have parents telling the schools what to do” and they’ve jumped on it.

time etc about the non-issue of violence in School Board meetings, though he doesn’t state it that way. All part of the Rethug Gaslighting Handbook.

14. It is the lynch pin of their political strategy

Promoting this CRT outrage in school boards is the "death panels" of the season. School boards and city council meetings have replaced "town halls". The thugs see this as a way to get elected. Justice dept. and FBI involvement is just an added feature to their strategy. I think good folks need to show up at these meetings in very large numbers to counter their stupidity.
