(17,802 posts)He killed his fiancé. What's one more death if caught off-guard?
Not saying it isn't him. But if he was desperate and surprised, it could be anyone.
DNA will prove it one way or another if the fbi is involved; florida, not so much..

(16,170 posts)He was supposed to be a "survivalist" outdoors guy.
Maybe a gator got him!
This does save Gabby's family from having to go through a gruesome trial.

(11,221 posts)If he did, that would've been plenty of time for animals to feast on his remains, leaving mostly bones...

(8,514 posts)I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. Life will never be normal for them again.

(114,685 posts)If it hasn't occurred to anyone else, one can live without one arm or a hand or fingers, as but one example.
It is just so damned suspicious in terms of the parents' behavior throughout this. So, I'd like to see evidence that they found sufficient remains to leave no doubt.

(2,173 posts)The parents were so ashamed that they killed him and fed him to the gators. OK, I don't believe that.

(114,685 posts)Dental records would be conclusive, no doubt. I hope that is the case.
I hope for all concerned this is the end of this ordeal.

(8,595 posts)My theory is that it was an accidental death (Gabby)--or rather, argument that escalated out of control--and he returned home to tell his parents that he was going to suicide rather than go to jail. So they helped him, with the understanding that that's what he would do. They knew where to go, because that was the plan.
Man, I don't know--as a parent... you want to support your kid no matter what.
Awful, all around, for everyone.
