(94,803 posts)...is the real problem here that people can afford something like this? If so, let me suggest you visit TCS https://www.tcsworldtravel.com/luxury-jet-expeditions/tour-around-the-world-march-2022?gclid=CjwKCAjwwsmLBhACEiwANq-tXK4likkdsqmODZzSIHdr30rqWI4VqwMSJZASJmXk2h3on9h-x-zkwxoCuo8QAvD_BwE

(3,350 posts)She's elderly but doesn't need much medical care. She lives on a cruise ship, just one of the ones that goes from Florida to the islands-- $130 a day, $4K a month, for an inside cabin and all the food she can eat. She and the crew are buddies, and she enjoys meeting new people.
I'd appreciate that... except for the ocean part. I'd go for it if the ship was parked on land!

(20,747 posts)Forget about 9 days. Never gonna happen. I'd be circling the perimeter looking for land the whole time. And I love small boats. And I never get sea sick. I just want a shoreline.
