I guess there could be moms on duty, but that won't keep the peace like large burly dads. Sexist, but true.

It'd be awesome if schools also had community moms on deck to encourage students, to talk to if they need advice or help, and give out "the look" when kids aren't behaving!

or volunteers or classroom assistants. I don't mean to belittle their contributions, certainly.

a hour or 2 each week. they will get volunteers.
