I am in Sequim on the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the wind and rain have stopped - feels weird. We might miss it though.

At least the lights are still on at this time but we can hear stuff hitting the roof we're surrounded by trees.

As my house is all electric, I now cannot cook dinner until the power is restored. And my only source of heat is the cat on my lap. Nice kitty!

From the fir tree in my back yard. Nothing damaged, just a mess to clean up. High wind warning in effect until 5am (PDT) tomorrow.

Raining like crazy, and I almost couldn't open my car door because of the wind. I'm so happy for the rain, but I have to worry that people in the hills may have their houses slide.

The rain and wind have slacked off for now. There are leaves everywhere but no trees down in my neighborhood. I hope that's the end of it but probably not. This storm is huge. 😱

Keeping fingers crossed. Have seen some wind gusts, but didn't last long yet.

Stay safe!

Lots of rain, wind, and noise but nothing worse yet. I haven't bothered to reset the clock yet as I expect the power will go out again soon.

We're in Kirkland.

It was fun for a bit but now I'd like it turned down please.

Apparently it's due to increase later, more rain than I've seen in years.

I do worry about flooding and mudslides, but if those are limited this is huge for the whole region. Not only ending fire season, but filling the rivers and streams to flow to the big reservoirs to replenish them.

And it's 8 pm. So, I'm down the road at the local pizza joint in Orting. No chain, locally owned. I'm having a veggie deluxe for dinner. Beats going hungry

I understand the waves are up to 40 feet in Southern WA and Oregon.
