Trump Has Weekend Freakout Over 'Horrible' Fox News Ads

Donald Trump spent at least part of his weekend yelling at the TV, releasing a new rant calling out Fox News for running ads critical of him.

“What good is it if FOX News speaks well of me when they continually allow horrible and untruthful anti-Trump commercials to be run—and plenty of them,” Trump said in a statement. “In the good old days, that would never have happened and today it happens all of the time.”

It’s not clear which ad triggered the former president, but several anti-Trump groups have been running spots critical of him and his supporters in Congress, often airing them on Fox News in hopes he’ll see them.

The progressive PAC MeidasTouch said it was one of their spots, airing on the right-wing network in the market where Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort is located:

Truth will do that to you. Unless you are living in honor and integrity.

In which case truth is refreshing, renewing, a sweet current of clarifying energy like unto a gentle mountain zephyr that has just whisped across a peaceful alpine lake to reach your welcoming nostrils on the far shore.

OK everyone. Take a couple of deep breaths, and then hop to it. It's Monday morning...

to elevate his blood pressure and maybe, just maybe, cause a massive stroke or heart attack, is one step closer to a better world.

At least that's the way I look at it. Some people aren't as vindictive as myself, and that's perfectly acceptable. We all have our little eccentricities, except The Orange Monster's eccentricities get tens of thousands killed. That's how I justify my ill will toward that man.

Murdoch's go round. I think they cherish cold cash over a non-paying dependent like Trump, who's always looking for a handout.

I think the cozy relationship Fox had with "The Donald" began to wane a bit after Roger Ailes was canned, and Rupert's son Lachlan essentially started running the empire.

They still love the fascist/capitalist system ( with the exception of son James and his wife, Kathryn, who are both close to human), but aren't very willing to overthrow governments in order to keep the money coming in. I think they're starting to see Trump as more of a loose cannon, and while not ready to sever ties with him, would like to increase their distance a bit.

That's my take on the relationship anyway. I may be completely wrong. It's happened before.

So many ads could be made from just a half minute clip. (1) "This man wants to control our country's nuclear arsenal; he can't even control himself." (2) Run a split screen with TFG and a 2-year-old throwing tantrums. "Would you trust your family's lives to this man?" and dozens more. Hell, you could just run the tape, and end it with a slide: "Trump 2024"

Tucker Carlson and the 30% who are True Trumpsters would find some way to make excuses for him -- they always do -- but in the end the damage would be done. T**** and any candidate he endorsed would be toast.
