"SNIP.......
The Washington Post decided not to publish Trumps response to their three-part 1/6 investigation because it was unrelated and inflammatory.
The Washington Post wrote about Trumps response:
The Post provided Trump a list of 37 findings reported as part of its investigation. His spokesman Taylor Budowich provided a lengthy written response that included series of unrelated, inflammatory claims that The Post is not publishing in full.
In response to the investigations findings, Budowich said that the former president greatly objected to all of them. He disputed The Posts investigation as fake news and falsely cast people who entered the Capitol on Jan. 6 as agitators not associated with President Trump. The statement repeated Trumps false claim that the 2020 election was rigged.

(38,632 posts)Saved the Post and has (mostly) kept hands off. Unfortunately, there are still problems, such as the direction of too many editorial columns since a new editor was hired, and the continuing publication of too many worthless right wing columns, in an misguided attempt to be balanced.

Put it in the "weird shit of the day from the people who create and believe weird shit" publication.

And, I've seen references that go back to Ben Franklin.
So, it appears a lot of famous people found that line important!
