A Washington state father killed his daughter's 19-year-old boyfriend for selling her into a sex trafficking ring, police said.
The boyfriend's remains were discovered in the trunk of an abandoned car on East Everett Avenue in Spokane last month, police said in a press release Monday. Investigators believe the victim was killed in November 2020.
The girl's father, John Eisenman, 60, was charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $1 million bond. Attorney information was not listed for him.
Police said Eisenman learned in October 2020 that his juvenile daughter had been sex trafficked in the Seattle area and "obtained information" that her boyfriend was responsible, according to the press release.

(15,630 posts)that the boyfriend actually did what the father claims. Certainly the boyfriend wasn't tried and convicted of it.

(40,852 posts)I was standing outside the bathroom door mumbling something about "rough sex" to wobbling drunk guys who had to pee really bad.
And we did rescue the girl, best as possible for a heroin addict who'd been sexually abused by a step dad.
Good God, some of my young adulthood sucked.
Yeah, I broke up with violent girlfriend.
Thankfully everyone lived happily ever after. Maybe not the pimp/boyfriend, but we were not his most serious problem.
My impression of this nbcnews story is there's a lot missing.
