One good example is Buffalo. A Democratic Socialist won her primary over the incumbent Democratic mayor (good on her, it was a shocking win) and he ran as a write-in candidate and won pretty easily yesterday.

In Minneapolis, Jacob Frey won reelection as mayor despite a campaign by the left to oust him due a lot of issues revolving out of George Floyd's murder. If you remember, and maybe you don't, he was booed at a Floyd protest in the summer of 2020.
