Travis Scott says "he will cover all funeral costs and provide further aid" to Astroworld victims

Scott was not responsible for the security for the event and would be the hardest person to be held liable in a lawsuit. This promise is the right thing to do

Hard disagree. He's been arrested before (twice, I think) for trying to get crowds to rush the stage. His history is going to come back and bite him in the ass here.

If there's evidence he did, it won't go well for him

If learned from the past and didn't incite the crowd to rush, then he's not responsible

He caused a minor riot at some fast food place during the height of the pandemic. I think he was even charged, but no doubt his handlers took care of it.

His “statement” online was pathetic, like he really ought to put the pipe down when he does that kind of thing.

This funeral thing is damage control, and I seriously doubt it was his idea.

Yes you're right about his history

But that's not the legal issue being discussed here

But I suspect you know that

In any case, we'll have to wait to see if he's charged/found guilty of incitement or something

Consider basing on number of security for the event.

But in a since-deleted tweet, he may have been encouraging fans to come in, even if they didn't have a ticket.

Here's a reddit thread compiling a lot of the reactions:

There's a number of videos of him enciting after he saw an ambulance in the crowd. I think he's facing a long legal battle.
