I saw some well practiced hysterics, but no actual tears. It was a "dry cry" from my perspective, but I might be mistaken. Someone in the courtroom would be a better judge.

They've practiced this for weeks, if not months, so he should have been coached - like any actor - how to cry on demand.

I understand there are other charges but even if he gets convicted on one of those he’ll get next to nothing.

The kid is completely without remorse or empathy, which is why he couldn't summon actual tears during his ridiculous display of coached hysterics. He's going to be a larger problem later in life.

Just a lot of facial distortion (same with his mother in the courtroom) but not a single tear to be seen. Your nasal passages also contract when you have an actual empathetic reaction, which is why people always blow their noses after a good cry. Nothing going on there, either. All in all, you did not pass the audition, Kyle. But I still thenk he'll get away with it.

Oh, and yes he did take a sly, quick glance at the jury. Are they buying his academy award performance? On cue the judge ordered a break so the performance could end ….allow Kyle to regain his - Uhm — composure. Let the jury “think” about what they just witnessed. Good strategy by the defense. Not so good for Justice.

I thought for sure it was going to inflate and turn into a hot air balloon and help him make an escape.
