As did many other people, obviously.
It may have been misreported by the media, but these were the initial reports.

(30,468 posts)As I did say, the story may have been misreported in the media, but the initial reports were that she drove him -- I'm quite okay with the idea that I was misled.

(51,308 posts)The gun was bought by a friend in Wisconsin, which is where the gun was kept. The friend is facing charges for this.
Furthermore, his father lives there in that town, barely 30 minutes from where the punk killer lives.

She drove him back home after his panicked call "I shot two people". But not from home to the protest.

(90 posts)1) She didn't buy him the gun. He gave the $$$ to a friend in Wisconsin, who bought it and stored it.
2) She didn't drive him to Kenosha.

(39,086 posts)the gun for him in jail? It is illegal to purchase a gun for
someone else. Of course if he bought it at a gun show or
a guy in the alley that's ok.

(20,356 posts)When I worked the gun counter at Gander Mountain, I had to call my manager over a few times because of guys blatantly trying to do it.
And Kyle is on record saying he used his stimulus check to buy that AR through his friend.

(60,320 posts)Presumably you have a point about his mother giving him HIS money. But it must be a weak point for you to disruptively not state it.
Lots of 17-year olds earn $$$ enough to buy stuff.

(2,949 posts)She did not buy him the gun. She did not give him a ride to Kenosha. She did however, raise this killer.

(448 posts)To raise a RWNJ for a son. It's child abuse and neglect to raise a kid to turn out this way. If he was raised properly, he wouldn't feel the blood thirst and have been marching with all of the rest of the peaceful protesters against police brutality against unarmed African Americans

(1,459 posts)Because nothing you have written is true.
For a message board filled with people who pride themselves with knowing the facts. And filled with people who rail on Republicans who believe falsehoods spread by social media (or Fox News for that matter), I can not believe the amount of times people have to be told that Kyle NEVER crossed State lines with a gun. Kyles Mom DID NOT drive him to the protest. Kyles Mom DID NOT buy him the gun!
And I will add one more that is believed by many. The men that Kyle shot were white men, this was not the case of a white man shooting a black man.

(5,969 posts)I propose that you read the post again and just process the information that was given without looking for any narrative, without any judgment on the case. That post only corrected several false claims that have been going around since that event happened without even remotely voicing an opinion on the shootings or taking a stance on any of the charges of that case.

(60,320 posts)The reason for courts and trials is to bring out the facts and the law.
Juries are triers of fact, judges are triers of law.
There are altogether too many people ready to convict AND PUNISH innocent accused because they don't have the facts.
Then there are people who make it difficult to APPRISE them of the facts.
The latter embroil themselves in long difficult threads stemming from spreading bogus information.
Even NOW it would be a good time to self-delete your ORIGINAL POST.
As to the
It does not apply to the issue of what the facts are.
It ignores the fundamental principle that defendants are given full opportunity for defense in courts of law.
It less than useless to ask that bogus question.
