Republicans Trying To Turn America Into A Dictatorship Should Be 90% Of The News

Another 3rd Reich.

That, and the cover up of 1 /6.

They want to use threats and violence to force others to accept their domination.

There.

The real news.

The most important news on Planet Earth.

Like requiring state/local matches for federal money. You'd be surprised how many red areas won't raise taxes or find some type of financial gimmick to get matching money. They'd rather do without than getting $90 for putting down $10. Not too bright.

Democratic voter apathy is more problematic than voter suppression in my opinion. Off year elections, primaries are poorly attended by Democrats. My state's legislative branch takes full advantage of that but putting ballot measures up during primaries (when independents don't show up). Republicans vote more consistently than Democrats so measures Republicans want get passed with 20% turnout. The last election, the largest city in my county had 10% turnout. Multiply that Democratic apathy across a state and you get a lot of Republicans winning on the state level in a state where there are more registered Democrats than Republicans.
