In response, the Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar, one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress, said: “These people hate the US constitution.”

Mark Hertling, a retired general and media commentator, called Flynn, himself a retired general, “an embarrassment to the US army”.

You'd have megachurches on one side of the street extolling the "virtues" of right-wing Jesus (No miracles, you have pre-existing conditions, women and minorities need to know their place, and be paranoid of the 'other') and on the other side of the street you'd have corporate towers with glittering billboards telling people if they love right-wing Jesus or to celebrate their relationship with Jesus, then they need to buy their products and the extremely wealthy would be seen as living saints or man-angel hybrids, and there would be like a daily pledge affirming loyalty to right-wing Jesus and the man-angel hybrids.
