My Veteran housemate was so worried she was cleaning the guns and rifles.
She didn't say anything but cursed under her breath.
I knew what she was thinking.
She was getting ready for war.
She was in war zones during her 20 years active duty and reserve time, 30 years in all.
She is a retired RN.
We came really close.

(86,569 posts)a friend cut up wood in the yard. I had DU open and checked in once in a while. I figured something like that would happen and it did. My friend didn't believe me when I told him what was going on. Called when he saw it on the news and said he couldn't believe that happened.
I was pretty pissed off.

I'm nowhere near DC but we have them here. Just the other day I saw one with a F Biden flag. Can you imagine being that far from reality.

(66,325 posts)And fuming at the stupidity, pettiness, provincialism, squalor, vindictiveness, blockheadedness, and utter uselessness of Trump and his Trumpanzees.
They smeared shit on the walls of the Capitol building.
I'm still trying to figure out how they thought that was 'patriotic'...
