When do we say "ENOUGH!"

When do we point to the elephant in the room?

When do we stop speaking and acting AS IF those in the Trump party are acting in good faith?

When do we stop pretending that if we simply communicate better and GOTV, things will "work out eventually"

When do we stop considering or caring about what "they" might say or do?

When does it register that going "all in" in '22 is our ONLY chance to win in '24?

Pretty sure no one here thinks the repugs are acting in good faith.

Pretty sure we all know who the orange elephant in the room, and all his bigoted brethren is/are.

has been about better messaging to reach the independents, (no nothings.) The GQP is a lost cause.

to chop them into tiny little pieces.

We are winning the governing war but not the propaganda war.

My concern is the DNC is loaded with fundraising. I know we're nowhere without money. We also need to compete with networking.

I'm not sure if any of us realize how far behind we are on this. I had a conversation recently with an older Republican who has quite an extended family. This is a network that reaches across country, and is like a large neigbhorhood locally spread over 2 counties. They mostly all go to church. They all know one another. Many vacation together. What got me was the comment ... 'they all go to the same hairdresser'. We can't penetrate that. They have closed minds. They socialize, religionize, patronize one another. They buy insurance. They're on the smart phones. We have what? Door knocking? Hired college students doing internships?

I'm not at all confident the DNC is even aware of the phalanx they're up against. So when you stop bitching, get down to some strategy and rattle some cages. You have beefs? Execute the solutions you see. It does no good telling me, or telling us. Zero. The Party Lights need to hear.

They have proven to disregard fact and replace it with imagined reality. As long as we try to battle them, they will habitually move the playing field. It's a battle that cannot be won.

Battle lines are being drawn. We're not the scribes, but we will become them in their altered reality.

10. Messaging

The problem for Dems is and always has been messaging. We win the governing game easily. However, we are made to look as though we failed.

The media is all right wing owned, so it naturally does its best to sabotage us.

But on top of that, it appears that Dems are totally unaware that they are being destroyed in the messaging/propaganda game. It also seems that they make little or no attemptt to properly frame their messages, hold press conferences, or otherwise get their message out. Or maybe they have no message. They concentrate on good governing alone, without any awareness, that there is a huge right wing propaganda machine that is destroying them.

The only attempt at winning the propaganda game that I ever saw was Air America Radio, which was very short lived. Until Dems put a heck of a lot more effort into telling ghe public how good they are at governing, we will see constant erosion and sliding into facism.
