8. Not raining but I live along the coast and its hardly ever clear enough to see eclipses

so yet again I'm out of luck.

9. Oddly had a clear window

Forecast said cloudy. Set an alarm for 12:30. Lo and behold, super clear night. As we're a decent distance from the city, lots of stars and things.

By 1:05, clouds started rolling in again.

So, super lucky little pocket of time during the best part.
