Just straight up okie-doke them into being leaders of the cause.

It’d be hilarious.

Perhaps we could get all the media talking heads to join in. Every time one of these guys is making an appearance they should be confronted about how they intend to make prison conditions better.

All using the same justifications for abuse in prison (such as "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" ) - as if abuse in prison is justice and what people get. As if food crawling with maggots is acceptable. They probably even made prison rape jokes - and if you can laugh about rape in prison - then you're laughing at all victims of rape. Rape is rape. You're either appalled by it or you're not. Rape is not justice - ever. No one "deserves" to be raped.

No one deserves to be mistreated in prison. No one. Not in jail/detention. No one.

I'm not saying the various insurrectionists/Tarrio are suffering abuse or being mistreated - I'm saying they (most likely) mocked and ridiculed prisoners that talked about the various abuses and wretched conditions found in prison.

Now they are behind bars and crying over the least little thing. Not getting "organic food", for example.

They think other people deserve the bad. You know, "real" criminals. They don't see themselves as criminals. They see themselves as better.

Like that white woman during the insurrection who was shocked by the police "shooting" at them because they were supposed to shoot BLM, not people like her.

“This is not America,” a woman said to a small group, her voice shaking. She was crying, hysterical. “They’re shooting at us. They’re supposed to shoot BLM, but they’re shooting the patriots.”

A man, possibly her husband, comforted her: “Don’t worry, honey. We showed them today. We showed them what we’re all about.”

Thinking themselves better than what they define as a criminal allows them to see their criminal acts as not so bad, harmless, youthful indiscretions, or even "patriotic". Black and brown people are the real criminals. Liberals are the real criminals. BLM is bad, not them. Anti-fascists are the real criminals. Not them.

It allows them to justify killing those they see as the "real" criminals.

We heard it when George Floyd was murdered. They all said his murder was justified because he was bad, a criminal.

We hear it every time the police kill a black person. Always attacking the victim and claim the killing was justified.

And we heard it during the Rittenhouse trial. People saying the victims got what they deserved because they had police records.

Because they are A-OK with extrajudicial killings.
