The British socialite will go before a jury at the end of the month accused of sex trafficking underage girls for New York financier Jeffrey Epstein to abuse. She has pleaded not guilty.

Ian Maxwell, her brother, went on BBC Radio 4 in Britain to accuse the U.S. authorities of treating her "abominably."

He said: "Her voice has not been heard, not just because she's been banged up in isolation and treated abominably, by any system.

"I think it's been designed to break her and to weaken her and to make it very hard for her to be able to concentrate and prepare adequately for trial.
