Considering how conspicuous this person was with the Trump banner, obviously trying to draw attention to herself, she may have been flagged (pun intended) many minutes earlier for bizarre and possibly threatening behavior. Certainly whoever shot this video identified a situation about to unfold, which makes me wonder how long this person had been acting inappropriately.

As has been pointed out, airports are among the most police/security intensive locations in the world. Monitors everywhere, cops visible in pretty much every public area. So they may have been following her around for quite a while, waiting for such an incident.

Having been burgled, mugged and raped during my lifetime, I have no illusions about the efficiency of the police. In this instance though I can only applaud the outcome as presented in this clip.

Surely there is no "reasonable expectation of privacy" in a busy airport? It's not that different from snapping pictures on a public street.

Airports though are privately owned, often, right? They could set special rules on their property, but I've never heard of one doing so.
