(7,434 posts)Gohmert's supporters LOVE the fact that he's stupid like a fox. His brand is that he can sound so alarmingly empty-headed, and sell it as a "hidden talent" wink to the fascists. He's sneaky and crafty, and his intelligence is well-hidden in that folksy drool accompanied by his moist handkerchief, always at the ready. He makes Texas GOPers happy to be alive. And that's worth something.
