The Washington Post writer feared an armed faction of right-wing Trump zealots would “bear roughly the same symbiotic relationship to the GOP that the IRA had to the Sinn Fein party.”

It “doesn’t take many extremists to cause mayhem in a country awash in firearms,” noted Boot, a fierce critic of Trump and his enablers.

With right-wing violence now a top domestic terrorism threat, Boot said “a responsible political party would damp down its incendiary rhetoric and urge its supporters to moderate their zeal.”

But Republicans just “continue to fan the flames of hatred, violence and division.”

A bit more at the link. Rare that I read from HuffPost or post an OP, but this seems worthwhile. Is he hinting at a connection between Bannon and IRA without even mentioning him? Because both seek to thrive in an environment of a weak, bludgeoned government.

I myself urge and participate in some radical things… but they don’t involve bloodshed.

A while back, I personally took down an entire network of sites belonging to the neo-nazi American National Socialist Workers Party, and nobody got hurt, and I didn’t even break the law.

I personally made it appear on Google searches that right-wing and Islamophobe “ex-terrorist” Walid Shoebat was known as a fraud.

I personally helped got “White Nationalist Terrorist” added to the discourse. I’m NOT saying I coined the phrase. But the reason it’s on Wikipedia? Me.

I did it all without gunplay or the loss of life. Without an army of followers. And no, I’m not bankrolled by George Soros.

If you can’t contribute to the discourse without threats of violence and civil war, then maybe you shouldn’t contribute to it at all.

13. The Not far off:, White Christian political conservatives (anti-democratic) do see

themselves as separate from what the U.S. is, a nation made up of people from every corner of the planet. They seem to imagine they can create something that never existed. A nation where only White skinned folks are franchised citizens.
