(5,213 posts)He isn't defending Romney's "souless shapeshifting" as Rachel so hilariously put it...he was saying that clearly the Romney campaign made the political calculation that it wouldn't hurt him to do so. he might be right; I have a low opinion of the American voter recognizing that Romney contradicted himself endlessly in an attempt to hide his true colors.
