it would be appreciated if the vaccines were more like a pizza menu

deep dish, hand tossed, stuffed crust, slice

1st shot, 2nd shot, additional shot, boost

mix and match or same as previous shot

toppings / side effects:
pick 2-5

chills
headache
arm ache
body aches
fatigue
fever
nausea

just a thought.

You get to pick your booster brand, and it doesn't need to be the same as your first two doses.

When I called to make my appointment at the "vaccination center" run by the state of NC, they told me all boosters were available. I'd had the 2 doses of Pfizer but I asked for the Moderna booster. I was surprised and pleased I got to choose.

I got a sore arm for several days from all three doses, and felt a bit tired, but no problem.

I've continued to wear my mask after getting vaxed 7 months ago. I think that's as important in preventing covid transmission as getting the vaccine, maybe more. And with or without this new variant, wearing a good mask adds another level of protection. I'll keep wearing them for the foreseeable future, and get boosters when they're advised.

We will probably have more vaccines to choose from in the future. I think they've been working on edible dose.
