I seriously believe there are some paid callers on c-span after the debate.

One of the first callers wasn't articulate enough for me to believe he actually watched the debate, nor did he sound like he was speaking his own mind. He said he was supporting Romney because Obama didn't do all he wanted him to do, but then later he couldn't decide between Romney & Obama. The caller added that he was disappointed the Libya question wasn't asked. He quickly added, "Well, maybe it was the first question & I didn't get to see the first question" -- as though he were being cued by someone. It didn't flow in a sincere way.

Just seemed weird.

I'll bet you 10-1 Robme practiced *two* expressions pre-debate -- the fake, creepy "amused" look & the condescending, superior look that spookily brings to my mind as sociopathic (i.e., he is unwisely or willfully clueless that there are many news-savvy people living outside of the Fixed-News bubble who were most assuredly seeing right through him).

I don't do facebook but others will be interested in the poll -- thanks.

be rude or anything...just posting what popped into my head...

Duh. The right is so incredibly driven and organized compared to the left. They also very well funded and they have no morals, no scruples and will cheat, lie, manipulate, break the law, buy up voting machines...whatever it takes to win. So paid callers to shows is probably something that has been around for the right for a very, very long time. JMO.

7. It came off as a little naive but what I was going for was pointing out how obviously phoney

And sure this has been going on by the right for decades.

8. In my experience, the call-ins on CSPAN represent the most ignorant section of the electorate.

Even OUR guys sound stupid.

I wonder how any of them-- right, left or center-- even KNOW about CSPAN much less have the wherewithal to dial a phone number. It's pathetic.

One caller from my state claimed that she & her husband were going to have to pay more for their employer's insurance due to "ObamaCare" (rightwing talk), then she falsely attributed the closing of a medical facility to Obama (it was Jindal's).

I laughed because it sounds like we're not letting God vote now but we might one day.
