The SCOTUS has previously held that vaccine mandates operate (or at least can operate) as a police power, which is wielded by the states. Roe v. The result of the current case will not prohibit abortion throughout the nation, but could allow states to, once again, use their police power in this way (which I personally find abhorrent).
