that one couple took their child to the insurrection/attempted coup, do you think it is farfetched to wonder if some of these lunatic parents are capable of encouraging their children to shoot up thei? classmates in a school?

(10,599 posts)But I think it's more along the lines that they simply don't care whether it happens, not necessarily that they "encouraged."
I am guessing that is why the Prosecutor is going to go hard on them. I bet that in the school meeting that morning, the videos and threats were brought up, and the parents discounted them, perhaps even indicating that their son didn't have access to weapons, or that their weapons were secure and accounted for. Which of course, they were not.

(15,359 posts)Even if it's the most vicious bully you can imagine, that no one would miss, think of all the other damage it would (probably will) cause. Even if they were lucky enough to have no one else hurt.
