(113,212 posts)I remember the Halloween blizzard of 2011--being personally stuck for days at Denver International Airport trying to fly out to New Orleans--and now, to think it is December and no measurable snow at all. Damn.

(16,471 posts)Tropical mountains routinely have snow capped peaks if they are high enough. Mauna Kea often does have snow in December.
