I read that the police were notified of that place because the alarms went off. You'd think if he was harboring them there wouldn't be that. But then he could've permitted them inside, looked into it and saw they had charges, then called the police and said the alarm went off to cover his ass.

James and Jennifer Crumbley's connection to an east-side commercial building where police say they were found hiding overnight was apparently a polish-born, Detroit-based artist who'd recently done a mural near their house.

According to The Daily Beast, photos of the arrest showed the couple leaving the studio of Andrzej Sikora, a painter who was featured in an Oxford Leader article last month about his new mural at Red Knapp's Dairy Bar. A photo of Sikora posing alongside it was credited to "Jehn Crumbley," who was a licensed Realtor until 2018 and also worked as a marketing director. The photo credit has since disappeared.

This is going to be one interesting trial. The defense for the kid has an actual defense unlike other ones (crazy parenting, kid enabled to do bad things, etc). These parents appear to be sociopaths and won't want to ever admit to any wrongdoing. They will be heavily supported by 2A advocates and it will bring them down very, very, hard. No matter what though the kids defense attorney is not going to pressure him to a guilty plea. He's going to fight hard for this kid given the parents behavior and the mounting evidence they were crazy 2A far right wing gun nutters who enabled their mentally ill, suffering child, to commit this atrocious act. (Note: I am not defending Ethan here, I am talking about his necessary defense in the court of law. We don't have all the information so I am making a preliminary statement about how this may go down.)

According to a news article in the Oxford Leader last month, Sikora finished a mural at Red Knapps American Grill, a bar just around the corner from the Crumbleys’ house. A picture accompanying the story indicated the photo of Sikora was taken by a “Jehn Crumbley,” a nickname Jennifer Crumbley, a realtor-turned-marketing director, has been known to go by professionally and socially. The article appeared to have been updated to remove the caption, but a WayBack Machine archive still featured it.

When social media sleuths (Reddit) were on the job! They will find the bomber! Well, they found a missing Middle Eastern college student. Blasted his name everywhere. Basically did the internet version of an APB on him.

Except he wasn't the bomber.

No, he was missing because he had committed suicide by throwing himself off a bridge several days before the bombing. But thank you, internet, for harassing his family before they even found out. That must've been the sweetest cherry on top for them.

The police will let us know what they know when they want us to in due course. At least in the Boston case, there was an actual manhunt. Here, people are just being gossipy social media boobs.
