Morning of Shooting -While the Crumbleys sat in Principal's Office- The gun was in Ethan's backpack.

Let this sink in. While the Crumbleys sat in the Principal's Office the morning of the shooting, presumably with Ethan present.........the gun was in his backpack. When asked if they would take Ethan home, the parents insisted that he be sent back to class, and THEY WENT HOME.

Michigan school shooting: Ethan Crumbley ‘had gun with him’ at parent-teacher meeting hours before massacre
Prosecutors say the handgun Crumbley allegedly used in Tuesday’s deadly shooting was in his backpack when he arrived at school that morning.

The teen accused of carrying out a deadly shooting at his Michigan high school allegedly had the gun in his backpack during a meeting with administrators and his parents just three hours before the attack.

Adults are making children responsible for their own safety via shooter drills.

And they have a lot of help with the GQP, who have exhibited their disdain for the life of kids.

Dollars for the life of a child. And especially when these GQP people who already have more money than they need it still isn't enough so killing kids for cash is a way of for them. It IS their LIFESTYLE!

a little note about how he should use it and make her proud of him! (Sarcasm, obviously)

Honestly, I doubt either parent much cared if he had a gun in his bag. They seem like terrible parents.

I mean, we hear of first graders suspended for making a gun gesture with their hand and being suspended. This school really dropped the ball.

The backpack is where the gun was the whole time. Clear backpacks and metal detectors would help a bit.

careful these days since parents have a ton of clout and they all threaten the school constantly over little BS issues. Schools are afraid of legal problems. You really have to walk a fine line these days, not like when I was a kid.
