I’m hesitant to say to commit NATO troops to defend a nation that wanted to be part of NATO.

But then again, I am not happy about the expansionist policies of Russia.

Putin knows he can use this politically. He can use Germany and other parts of Europe as pawns. We don't want to piss off our European allies. So, my answer to the poll is... I have no idea what the USA should do.
