Just watched "Promising Young Woman".

Full of entitled frat boys taking advantage of young women. All I could think of was the spoiled predators Trump, Thomas and Kavanaugh calling the shots on women’s reproductive rights. The irony is breathtaking.

I broke down and cried to a friend earlier in the day about all the effort I made over the better part of 50 years to prevent us coming to this moment. I’m so angry and hurt about those who would not take this seriously. I’m just hoping that the two generations of young empowered women and men behind me will aggressively take up the fight. I’ll always donate money but I’m too burned out to march anymore.

and got teargassed, but we ended the war in Vietnam and brought civil rights onto the table. We did good.
The torch is passed to a new generation as JFK said. Keep the faith and carry on. Don't underestimate the next generation. I didn't see the film you are commenting on and probably won't but please continue the fight.

2. Thanks, Amerikat, I'm sure I'll drag myself to my feet again

I’m kind of over-saturated by the news this week. Plus, I got the Moderna booster yesterday and feeling kind of crappy from side effects.

5. Got boosted and flu shot last Tuesday. All good in the long run.

A bit sore in the arm for a few days but it beats the alternative.

I can't imagine how she put herself in so much danger, but that's true love for a friend.
